You have goals. You have capability. What moves you from the results you have to the results you want? The energy behind how you think, feel, and act.
You can work hard, learn new tools, and make real progress—then find yourself pulled back into familiar patterns. Flip Your Switch™ connects the whole person around the force running through all of it: energy.
BE is your current state. BECOME is your next level.
BE is how you operate today: the thoughts you repeat, the emotions you bring, the actions you take, and the results they produce. BECOME is who you, your team, and your business are working toward.
The gap is where the work happens. A clearer target. A different response under pressure. An action you stop putting off. Repeated until a new way of thinking, feeling, and acting becomes how you operate.
One energy. Two directions.
In Flip Your Switch™, energy is the fuel for your thoughts, emotions, and actions. Its direction matters as much as its intensity. More effort alone doesn't tell you whether that energy is working for you.
RUNNING NEGATIVE
Drained—or driving too hard.
Negative energy can run flat: doubt, hesitation, avoidance, going through the motions. It can also run hot: frustration, defensive reactions, frantic busyness, and grinding toward burnout.
That grind can produce results. The question is what those results cost—and how long you can keep paying for them.
RUNNING POSITIVE
Energy directed toward the target.
Belief, determination, curiosity, and commitment. You see the next move, stay connected to what matters, and put your effort where it advances the work.
Positive doesn't mean nonstop intensity. Recovery refuels your ability to perform. The goal is energy you can direct and sustain.
Your energy enters the room before your strategy does.
Your team experiences it through what you show, say, and do: whether you look up when someone speaks, the tone you bring to a difficult conversation, and how you respond when a target is missed.
Those moments shape whether people speak up, hold back, take ownership, or get defensive. That makes energy a leadership and culture issue—not just a personal one.
FLIP IT.
You can train what happens next.
You won't always choose what happens—or your first reaction. You can build more choice over your next response.
Catch It → Name It → Flip It. Notice the spiral, the drift, or the grind. Name where it is showing up: your thoughts, emotions, or actions. Start with the driver where you have the most traction: redirect a thought, reconnect to your target, take a breath, or make the next intentional move.
A real moment. A different response. Practice it in the meeting, the hard conversation, and the work you keep avoiding.
Change the setting. Build the pattern.
The Engine model uses a thermostat as a metaphor: a burst of effort can raise the temperature while the old setting pulls you back. Lasting progress takes practice across how you think, feel, and act—not just a surge of motivation.
Mindset defines who you're becoming. Heartset builds belief in it. Bodyset turns it into action. Train them together until your new patterns carry more of the work. That's the move from relying on willpower toward higher performance on command.
Understand the idea. Apply it to your own life and work. Rehearse it in real situations. Energy Labs turn the model into practice: find a moment that ran negative, trace how it affected your thoughts, emotions, and actions, then practice a different response.
Keep track of what drains you and what fuels you. Bring that awareness into your next conversation, decision, and challenge. Repetition is how the flip becomes a skill you can use.
One energy. Two directions. A different next move. Flip Your Switch™. Change What Happens Next.
